Bacterial Meningitis


Bacterial Meningitis is inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. Pneumococcus live in the back of the nose and throat and can attack the human body for unknown reasons. It usually progresses into pneumococcal meningitis, a form of bacterial meningitis, during an ear infection or pneumonia.
