A stroke is the rapidly developing loss of brain function(s) due to disturbance in the blood supply to the brain. As a result the affected area of the brain is unable to return to normal function.
Brookelyn has had many stokes. Most occurred when she first had contracted the meningitis. Others came from problems with hydrocephalus. Her brain has a lot of residual damage from the multiple stokes she had. She also had her brain collapse on itself further damaging her brain.
